Ticket or tour: which to book
Take the plain ticket if you only want Windsor. The train is easy, and you set your own pace.
Take a coach tour if you also want Stonehenge, Bath or Oxford. Those places are hard to join up by train in one day. For a coach day out to Bath instead, see Bath day trips at the end of this page.
Windsor sits in many UK tours and packages from London. Our day-trip guide compares them. For the stone circle alone, see our Stonehenge tours.
